It's a beautiful thing to see the right hold a president accountable. Like, for example, when they called for hearings into the Bush administration's outing of a CIA officer. Err, they didn't do that. Well, for example, when they were enraged over false yellowcake uranium claims meant to buttress their reasons for going to war. Err, I mean, they didn't do that either.
Surely, my mind is going and they most definitely called for the resignation or removal of numerous Bush administration officials after claims of an administration intimidating intelligence members to back up their reasons for invading Iraq. Wait; you're telling me they didn't do that either.
Surely I was asleep in a thought induced coma when Republicans jammed the streets in protest over unnecessary war that cost this country over 4,000 lives, the frying and maiming to death of over 100,000 Iraqi citizens, putting an end to the blatant partisanship that often costs this country dearly. Surely this all happened.
And I know I'm not hearing Senator McCain calling into question the competency of UN Ambassador Susan Rice, especially after picking a woman for the vice-presidential position who's only foreign policy experience was that she could - certainly when the fog had lifted - personally see Russia from her house.
Certainly the right-wing is acting in all due judgement, for the welfare and sanity of a nation that so depends on these very leaders making the kinds of decisions that hopefully get them reelected because they're doing their jobs…correctly. Right?
