The Republican Secretary of State of Ohio - of notoriously the most important battleground state in the country - is appealing a ruling to the Supreme Court that reinstated the final three early voting days 1 month before OUR presidential election. Are you enraged? If not, you should be.
There is NO REASON to appeal such a decision, and in fact, the most patriotic thing we can do is make early voting for as many people as possible as easy as possible in every state in the union. You'd think.
But, we're dealing with a Republican here in today's political climate. And anyone who pays attention to today's politics, knows what that means.
The Washington Post yesterday confirmed once again that early voting limits affects blacks disproportionately in the state.
