Controversial comments made four years ago by Rick Santorum are making waves ahead of a key election next Tuesday in Michigan, where the conservative former senator from Pennsylvania is in the midst of tight race against former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination for president.

Santorum said in August 2008 that "Satan has his sights set" on the United States of America, adding that "the Father of Lies" is using vice to go after the nation's great institutions.

"Satan [has been] attacking the great institutions of America, using those great vices of pride, vanity, and sensuality as the root to attack all of the strong plants that has so deeply rooted in the American tradition," Santorum said at Ave Maria University in Florida in 2008.

I knew he has a talking relationship with God but what I didn't know is that he talks to Beelzebub too. I'm really impressed at his circle of friends. I wish I knew him better maybe he has inside information I could use at Tampa downs. Better yet at the stock market but then again that doesn't prove anything most congressmen have inside information on the market.

Of course Santorum has inside information on Satan—he's working for him.

Sometimes it appears that Rick was passed over for the part of WJ Bryan in his high school play. He's still auditioning.

I think the American people should refuse to go to the voting poles until there are candidates that are truly qualified to run for the office of president.Even if you have to leave Obama in office for a short term, These people running for office or getting the majority of the votes are brainwashed sheep preying on religious views of the majority of the people who have very little knowledge of what is really going on. Instead of bashing each other, and creeping into bed rooms, they should be working on a plan to keep our country safe people working educating the kids and keeping the country healthy. Business is business, keep the churches out of this and keep all religious views out of the election process. Collect taxes from all churches and most of all ,government workers. Stop look and listen. But not to the hog wash.

I don't trust this man. He is showing that he will use any method to get what he wants even if it destabilizes this country. Religion is one of the things he is using and it reminds me of what the Muslim groups are using to rile up their followers. We don't need this in our politics, its a pitfall that can devastates all of us and put us in a place we don't want to go. Religion is a personal thing that can blow up in our faces. That is one reason our forefathers believed in separation of Church and State. He should talk about what he feels he can do to run the country. He should tout himself and quit the small minded actions that he is doing. Frankly I do not trust the GOP and those that were acceptable have been chased out of their positions by the Tea Party and the Dixiecrat's.
